  7. PackageMaster is approved by United Parcel Service as a host manifest software
  8. system, and it meets all UPS requirements for generating manifests, customer
  9. shipping labels, and COD tags. PackageMaster handles all standard UPS services,
  10. including GroundSaver and Hundredweight. It stores all customer names and
  11. ship-to addresses, lets you add new customers on-the-fly, and provides onscreen
  12. customer searches by name, ID, and telephone number. PackageMaster stores
  13. package lists and historical manifests, lets you monitor uncollected CODs, and
  14. tracks shipping cost variances. PackageMaster can be used as a standalone
  15. module or be interfaced with the ABS Wholesale Distribution System. It supports
  16. up to three printers, has a bar code scanning device (for UPS air/ground
  17. tracking), and can be interfaced with an electronic scale. PackageMaster
  18. requires approval from UPS. The software is updated as required to meet UPS
  19. standards. An annual subscription service is required.
